friday - we closed on our house!! woo hoo. woke up pretty excited. headed to bank. The closing itself was harmless. went to lowes, ikea, house, measure windows, unpack, cleaned.

Decided to go grub a free meal from jae's sisters house. We scored cuz they wanted to go out haha. we had dinner at cozymel, they waned to see the house so we brought them back at night.

Saturday - time to move boxes. it suckedddd! We could only take maybe max 2 boxes at  time. Up and down up and down from the 4th floor. we piled the stuff by the lobby door. Then of course had to take each box out the curb. Then wait till jae brings the car around then pack each box up again. it was the worst. Anyway, headed to my moms to pick up my vacuum and carpet cleaner. Then off to buy paint. then to the house. we actually didn’t have much time there bc my uncles party started at 5! So we unpacked the car and then just cleaned. Jae put up the ugly paper on all the windows.

 

 I ran to target while we was working, picked up pizza for lunch…then cleaned. Swept (mad dust from construction). Then swiffered. There was grout and caulk dripped on the floors, windows etc. since the house is new, its still settling so there were some cracks in the walls, jae patched that up. we had to be out by 3pm to et home to change and all, so we weren’t there all that long.

Went home, changed and my parents picked us up. Headed to chinatown for my uncles 50th surprise party. My uncles party was fun. I guess I celebrated a little too hard bc I was drunk and passed out by 10pm! =(

so I woke up the next morning with a severe headache but since I went to bed so early I was up by 8 haha. so we headed to my moms to pack up the car with my wedding shower stuff. my dad brought us beef chow fun for lunch. Headed back to target (pick up cabinet liners..of course I forgot them the day before). Then to the house. started painting the office room. I taped and trimmed while jae painted with the roller. i also had to take all the sticky stickers off all the windows. Omg it took me over an hour to do this. thank god for my Goo Gone. Had to patch up all the cracks in the walls due to the house settling:

Then I had to go back to grandmas for dinner.  sigh. I wont be back till the weekend which is a little sad hehe. but i love our new house!
