It's Christmas time. You'd never know it though. People seem to be so un-holiday-ish these days. boo. its tough times, eh? but its up to us to keep the spirit up. so last night, we set up our tree.
Our poor little charlie brown tree which only cost us $12.99. haha. its so hideous but yet i love it. it was our first. im thinking of bringing it to our future home with us and just put it up in the basement somewhere.

i love getting xmas cards!!!
i upgraded our stocking this year. i felt we deserved it since we're now an official family. and for the first time in my lifetime, Pottery Barn actually gave away something free - free shipping and free monogramming. unheard of!
and every year after xmas is over, i run to Target and stock up on their xmas stuff. last year i got these fun colored balls.
i also picked up this hideous candy cane garland. which i sort of love. jae hates it. but he let me put it up any way.
i made my own gift tags this year. rather, i took the image from the web.
im all about santa this year. my tree skirt and my wrapping paper. do you think my tree skirt says HO HO or OH OH. things that make you go "hmmmm"...
